The Bathroom Detail You Never Knew You Needed

“RESTROOM” sign in POLISHED BRASS LINKED HERE

Solid brass restroom sign on an olive green door

My apartment layout makes it so that it’s not super clear where the bathroom is. There are 3 doors right next to each other, so guests never quite know where to go.

To avoid that awkward situation where they open 5 different doors trying to find the bathroom (one of which is maybe where you’re hiding a giant mess…) I added this little plaque to the door! It makes it easier for guests to identify which room is the bathroom, and makes it easier for me to point it out to them.

This sign is solid brass, heavy, and super classy looking. Affordable too! I got mine in “polished brass” — click here for the link!

Sierra, here. ✌

An introverted, detail-oriented, and meticulous creative: documenting the slow, intentional, and realistic process of DIY-ing an apartment into a home — within the limitations of a rental.

If you dig home styling, thrift flips, DIYs, vintage finds, handmade goods, coffee, vegetarian food, knit grandpa sweaters, dark academia aesthetic, shopping local, Boy Meets World, Dr. Martens, 90s grunge and mid-2000s emo punk music — or the fact that writing this biographical blurb is clearly making me uncomfortable so my solution is to endlessly list increasingly obscure things: then I’m positive you’ll find something here that resonates with you. Stay a while and make yourself at home!
